As a result of our success and growth, we are now looking for an established Snr. Cost Draftsman with experience of working in a fast paced, cost driven environment to join our team.

We are looking to recruit an extremely well organised full time Practice Manager. The role will include assisting with managing a growing team of fee earners and solicitors and administrative team as well as assisting with the financial management and regulatory requirements of the firm, including the application and maintenance of Lexcel. The role requires a confident and enthusiastic individual to assist a rapidly growing firm and offers excellent bonus and salary and long-term prospects for the right candidate.

Job Description

Fee Earner and support team management

  • Recruitment processes – job description development, filtering and interviewing candidates
  • Performance management

-For fee earners v agreed performance targets/ KPIs-Management of any probation, disciplinary and grievance processes-Appraisal programme management, CPD management and training
Case management system

Assist with the ongoing development of the case management system (Proclaim) to improve efficiency, case conduct quality and management information

General management

  • Work with and support the directors and other senior management colleagues to develop and grow the firm successfully while further improving/maintaining the quality of client service and the firm’s reputation
  • Management of client complaint processes and resolutions of any issues related to the firm’s professional conduct
  • Take a lead role in ensuring compliance with all relevant Human Resource, Employment Law, Health & Safety and Lexcel quality requirements across the firm
